About the MANUAL OF
THE BALD MAN author
The Bald Handbook was written by me, EF*, a man born in 1980. I have been suffering from baldness since I was 23, and since I noticed the first symptoms, I have sought out several doctors and tried several treatments, from the most absurd to the most effective!
In 2012, at the age of 32, I overcame my fear of having the popular “doll hair” (another of the famous myths on the subject!) and decided to have my first hair transplant. At that time, the most widely used technique was the FUT technique, which consists of extracting a strip of tissue from the patient’s own scalp and implanting it in the areas with less hair. I explain it more in the manual, but its biggest problem was the scar from the operation.
Almost 10 years later, in 2020, I decided to have my second transplant to further improve the results of the first one. With the advances in medicine, a new technique began to be used more: the FUE technique. This technique had the advantage of not leaving scars, as well as being able to transplant a larger amount of hair.
With two transplants performed and dozens of treatments tested, I thought it was time to share my knowledge on the subject and make sure that people do not make the same mistakes as me and start doing what worked best for me as soon as possible.
I wrote this manual independently, without promoting any specific doctor, medication or product. This was a manual I wish I had read before I began my fight against baldness. Without a doubt the choices would have been better and the results even more effective 😊
